Danny Leon Hudson

Danny Leon Hudson, age 57, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 in Tyler, Texas. He was born on Wednesday, May 26, 1954 in Hawkins, Texas to the late Grady and Wilda Husdon.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Babe Hudson and Bud Hudson.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Sheila Hudson of Mineola, Texas; two sons, Lloyd "Bubba" Hudson and Chris "Boone" Hudson both of Hawkins; a daughter, Amy Hudson Moore and husband Marcus of Hawkins; a sister, Linda Mayberry Ellison and husband Joe of Hawkins; and three grandchildren, Kody "Hot Rod" Elliff, Chelsie "Sissy" Elliff and Grady "Nubbin" Hudson. He was like a father to some very special boys; Mike, Bubba, Jason, Brian, Matt, Jimmy and Kevin.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Hawkins on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 6 - 8 PM.

Funeral services will be held at Beaty Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Hawkins on Monday, August 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Orville Moore officiating.
