David Alan Johnson

Mr. David Alan Johnson, age 61 of Daingerfield, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021 at his home in Daingerfield. He was born on July 15, 1960 in Rockford, Illinois to the late Lloyd Van Blaircon and Mary Hart Johnson. David was a inspiration to all who knew him . If you ever had the pleasure or were lucky enough to know him you felt the pleasure of his kindness and compassion. He never turned his back on anyone and would give the shirt off his back if it was needed. A man that never met a stranger. He lived and breathed for his beautiful children and grandchildren, his family was his heart and his legacy will continue to forever live through them. He was a tireless and selfless man. A kind, gentle man of faith. He knew where he was going and even in the end said his heart was breaking for us. He was always thinking of his family before himself but that is who he was, he loved and gave unconditionally always. He will forever be missed and truly loved. He is survived by his loving wife, Leigh Johnson of Daingerfield; daughters, Trisha Johnson of North Dakota, Tabitha Vaught of Mt. Vernon and Meagan Johnson of Longview; brothers, Ron Van Blaircon and his wife, Becky, Tom Van Blaircon and his wife, Jan, Jerry Van Blaircon and his wife, Kari and Brian Wright and his wife, Browyn; sisters, Christina Fields and Cindy Van Blaircon; six grandchildren, Elyza Cryer, Grayson Gray, Addyson Gray, Ashlynne Vaught, Zane Ford and Syble Ford.
