David Wayne Raney

David Wayne Raney, age 53, of Garland, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, 12 November 2014 at Baylor Medical Center at Garland, Texas. David was born at Garland, Texas on 22 May 1961 to Donald and Geneva Campbell Raney. He married Cheryl Ann Evans Wells on 17 July 1982 and they were divorced on 26 October 1988. They are the proud parents of Shaun Carl Raney, born 28 January 1983 and Courtney Rae Raney, born 11 August 1987.

He attended South Garland High School and worked for several years for Hallmark Electronics in Dallas, Texas. He attended Eastfield College in Mesquite, Texas and received a certificate as a Air Conditioning and Heating Technician. He worked for various Air Conditioning companies in Dallas and Garland.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Nell Campbell Raney. He is survived by his son, Shaun Carl Raney of Garland, daughter, Courtney Rae Raney of Garland, father, Donald Ray Raney Sr. of Garland, brother, Donald Ray Raney Jr. of Garland, and sister, Donna Lynn Raney Wilson of Garland.

Funeral service will be at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Saturday, 22 November 2014 at 12:00 PM. Visitation will be at 11:00 am before the funeral. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Mineola, TX.
