David Leon Swanson

Mr. David Leon Swanson, age 62 of Pickton, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at his home, in Pickton. He was born on April 26, 1959 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to late Lawrence Swanson and Jessie Lee Thompson Swanson.
David was a retired truck driver and a member of Winnsboro House of Praise Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence P. Swanson and brother, Gary Swanson.
He is survived by his mother, Jessie Lee Swanson of Pickton; loving wife, Terri Swanson of Pickton; daughters, Jennifer Swanson-Henry and fiancé Greg of Winnsboro, Destini Bowling and husband, Matt of Tyler, Chelsea Crutsinger and husband, Kevin of Gilmer and Crystal Knotts and husband, Aaron of Winnsboro; brothers, Mike Swanson and wife, Nancy of Pickton and Lanoy Swanson and wife, Kathy of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Zaine, Cruz, Ryan, Matt, Sumer, Kaleigh, Kaleb, London, Paris, Sylar, Cheyenne, and Gunner.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX 75494. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2:00 pm with Bro. Gary Hampton conducting. Interment will follow at Harmony Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Jeff Jordan, Kyle Thompson, Chad Knotts, Joe Hart, Dale Thompson, Jace Anglin, Jeff Brumley serving as pallbearers.
