David Walter Thomas

Mr. David Thomas, age 67 of Mineola, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 in Quitman. He was born on March 3, 1953 in Mineola to the late Earl Thomas and Hester Wren Thomas. He was retired from the oil field and attended Silverlake Baptist Church and Coldwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, brother, Jimmy Thomas; sisters, Betty Johnson, Frances Coleman, Nancy Tate, Grace Asbury, Patsy Hanks, Lynda Mize, and Sarah Norris; granddaughter, Lily Mead. He is survived by, son, Tyler Thomas and his wife, Maguire of Oklahoma City; daughter, Amanda Mead and her husband, Chad of Woodward, Oklahoma; brothers, Bobby Thomas and Jody Thomas both of Mineola; sister-in-law and longterm caretaker, Linda Thomas of Mineola; five grandchildren, Jake, Abby, Jude, Miles and Lily and a host of nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 8th, 2020 at Beaty Funeral Home 5320 S. State Hwy. 37 Mineola, TX 75773 at 1:00 pm, Rev. Mike Sullivan conducting and Rev. Donny Chamberlain conducting.
