Mrs. Deborah Elaine Duke, age 57 of Mt. Vernon, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 in Paris, Texas. She was born on April 23, 1964 in Houston to the late Clyde Walton Chapman and Annie Laurie Russell Chapman.
Deborah was preceded in death by parents, husband, James Duke and sisters, Pam Hockenbury, Claudia Nolan and Yvonne Cole. She is survived by her sons, David Walton Chapman and wife, Brittany of Houston, James Douglas Duke and wife, Michelle of Hope Mills, NC; daughter, Shelby Lynn Soto and husband, Brandon of Winnsboro; brothers, Mack Chapman and wife, Jamie of Hitchcock, TX and Bubba Chapman of Santa Fe, TX; sisters, Shirley Grimes of Greenville, Sylvia Serenil and husband, Danny of Hemphill, TX, Lacey Batie and husband, Johnny of Cleveland, TX, Lynn Walker and husband, Forrest of Liberty, TX and Beth King and husband, Richard of Magnolia, TX; grandchildren, Avery, Jessi, Dylan, Tori, Emma, Dakota, and Laurie.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at The Red Barn 100 CR 4830 Winnsboro, Texas 75494 at 2:00 pm.
