Dewey Edmond Harris

Dewey "Ed" Harris, age 91 of Winnsboro, passed away on Tuesday, February 9th, 2016 in Winnsboro. He was born on December 31st, 1924 in Winnsboro, TX, to the late John Harris and Jewel Harris. He was a retired truck driver, and was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by parents, John Dewey Harris and Jewel Lee Hargiss Harris; two sisters, Laurene Evans and LaVerne Byars and one brother, Rayford Harris. He is survived by, his wife, Billie J. Busby Harris of Winnsboro; daughters, Brenda Brown and husband Willie of Scury and Donna Harris of Oklahoma; brothers, Roy Harris of Corsicana, George Harris of Winnsboro and Lawrence Harris of Yantis; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 12th, 2016 at Hopewell Cemetery at 2:00 pm, Rev. Donny Chamberlian conducting, interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery in Winnsboro,
