Mr. Dewey Henry Nichols, age 91, of Mineola, Texas, died Sunday, February 3, 2008, in Quitman, Texas. He was born December 5, 1916 in Hopkins County, Texas to the late Clyde and Annie Kimbro Nichols. Mr. Nichols had lived in Mineola for over 55 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church, Mineola Masonic Lodge #502 for 50+ years and the Mineola V.F.W.He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Alma Nichols on January 19, 1996 and by three brothers.He is survived by his two sons, Jackie B. Nichols and his wife Mary of Yantis, Texas and David H. Nichols and his wife Sherry of Mineola, Texas; one sister,

Betty Ratliff of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters-in-law, Venis Turner of Pickton, Texas, Dixie McClung of Lufkin, Texas, Delma Nichols of Pickton, Texas; two brothers-in-law Don Neighbors of Quitman and Lon Neighbors of Quitman; four grandchildren, David A Nichols, Dana Bruton, Zachary Nichols, and Joshua Nichols and three great grandchildren, Lance Nichols, Keaton Nichols, and James Bruton.
