Dixie Frances Luongo

Dixie Frances Luongo, 97, of Winnsboro, joined the saints in heaven on March 29, 2020. Dixie was born on February 4, 1923 in Winnsboro, Texas to Albert and Beda Mae McCown Wood. Ms. Luongo grew up in Winnsboro and attended grade school here before her family moved out to Arizona. After many years living out west, Dixie was pulled back by her love of the area and made Winnsboro her home in her later years. She is survived by her cousin H.L. Henry and nephews Edwin Heuslein and Gary Heuslein. A private graveside will be held on Wednesday, April 1st at Clearwater Cemetery.
