Dolly Dimple Cowser

Mrs. Dolly Dimple Cowser went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at the age of 88. She was born on December 16, 1919 to the late Whit and Fannie (Corley) Horton. Mrs Cowser was a homemaker and volunteered as a "Pink Lady" at the Winnsboro Hospital for several years. Mrs. Cowser was also a member of the Pine Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She married Mr. Leroy Cowser on September 28, 1935 and he preceded her in death on October 13, 2002. Mrs. Cowser was also preceded by one grandchild, Mark Nichols, and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Minette and Mickey Nichols of Calhoun, LA; son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Debbie Cowser of Winnsboro; brother, Gaston Horton of Houston,TX; grandchildren, Nicole Dray and husband Chuck of Calhoun, LA, Rickey Nichols of Calhoun, LA, Craig Cowser and wife, Erika of Hallsville, and Kevin Cowser of Winnsboro; fourteen great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
