Don Ray Jarred

Mr. Don Ray Jarred passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2007 at the age of 67. He was born on November 15, 1940 to the late R.G. Jarred and Opal Mullins Jarred. Mr. Jarred was a 1959 Winnsboro Graduate and then graduated from East Texas State University in Commerce with a Bacholors of Science and a Masters of Science Degree. He was a retired Pharmaceutical Salesman, having been employed by several major Pharmaceutical Companies. Mr. Jarred was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro, served on the Soil Conservation Board, member of the Winnsboro Odd Fellows Lodge #19, Walter's Winnsboro Encampment #93 and the P. Hershal Black Canton #1. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Alisa Ann Jarred and by a sister, Carolyn Jarred Rushing. Survivors include his wife of twenty-nine years, Mrs. Jeanette Jarred of Winnsboro; son, Don R. Jarred, Jr. of Dallas; sister, Shirley Ann Jarred of Fairfield; step-children, Brian and Pam Allen of Tyler, Lisa and David Boyles of Mt. Vernon, OH, Craig and Debbie Allen of Bedford and Amy and Tony Montgomery of Hot Springs, AR; eight grandchildren, Christopher, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Michael, Eric, Lindsey, Kade and Jealin; two great grandchildren, Kaila and Haley.
