Don F. Maxwell

Mr. Don Maxwell, age 66 of Scroggins, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 in Tyler. He was born on March 20th, 1950 in Tulia, Texas to the late Albert Maxwell and Marie Baxter Maxwell. Don worked at Keller’s Creamery as an Assistant Coordinator. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by, his loving wife of 26 years, Sharon Ann Courtney Maxwell of Scroggins; daughter and son-in-law, Whitney and Tim Akin of Farmersville; sisters, Trisha Bailey and husband Jack of Amarillo, Becky Henry and husband Dave of Big Springs; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Akin, Dakota Akin, Anne Akin, Alexander Akin; and one great-grandchild, Chevelle Edwards. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, Pastor Chase Smith conducting, interment will follow at Clearwater Cemetery in Franklin County.
