Donald R. Allen

Donald R. Allen, Sr was called home to begin his celebration with Christ and his wife, Marilyn, who preceded him in death. Donald was born on November 6, 1927, to the late Hugh and Arvella Allen in Michigan. He was the fourth of five children born into the family.
Donald had a strong belief and pride in family, God and country. He was a member of the Axe Memorial Methodist Church in Garland, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, three sisters, and his wife, Marilyn. He is survived by his son, Donny Allen, Jr. and wife, Pam; daughter Karen Harper; six grandchildren including Donny Allen III and wife, Mel; Keri Kramer and husband, Don; Jeri Ward and husband, Matt; Kristin Nowlin and husband, Scott; Kim Medcalf and husband, Derek; Kara Schultz and husband, Warren; six great grandchildren including Emily Kramer, Riley Kramer, Drake Nowlin, Wyatt Nowlin, Spencer Ward, and Kooper Thomas Medcalf.
