Donald Raymond Brossett

Donald Raymond Brossett, age 81 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2015 in Winnsboro. Donald was born in Campti, LA, on October 12, 1933 to the late Percy and Cora Poche Brossett. He served honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a retired railroad agent, member of the Winnsboro VFW Post 8780, and St. Anns Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Louie Brossett; and a sister, Judy Carol Pipes. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Brossett of Winnsboro; son, Wesley Shane Brossett and wife Marisa Beth of Groesbeck; daughters, Tina Satterwhite and husband Wade of Winnsboro; Peggy Brossett of Winnsboro; brothers, Jim Brossett, Frank Brossett, Troy Brossett; sisters, Dorothy Wright, Betty Miller, Rita Burgess, Doris Hardee, Barbara Waddle; seven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, Rosary will begin at 6:00 PM, Visitation will follow from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Anns Catholic Church in Winnsboro, Father Mathai Mani officiating. Memorials to the American Cancer Society or St. Anns Catholic Church.
