He is survived by his parents Thomas Ricks of Mineola and Betty Mitchell of Channelview, Texas, three sons; Donald Wayne Ricks, Jr. of College Station, Texas, James Thomas Ricks of College Station and Stephen Henry Ricks of Garland, Texas, two daughters; Trina Marie Markham of Mineola and Harley Dawn Ricks of Boulder, Colorado, two brothers; Ricky Ricks of Mineola, Charles Ricks of Tyler, Texas, One sister Brenda Ricks of Hawkins and three grandchildren
