Donald Glenn Spence

Donald Glenn Spence, 68, of Winnsboro, passed away on June 28, 2020 in a Tyler hospital. Don was born on October 23, 1951 in Winnsboro to the late Cary Alvin and Gussie Spence. Mr. Spence worked for East Texas Bridge in Longview for close to 13 years as a Construction Superintendent. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mr. Spence was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Paul, Joe, Charles and Jackie. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Kathy Spence; son Billy Spence, son Robert Spence and wife Suzanne, son Jason Darby; daughter Donna Roberts and husband Terry, daughter Tina Meredith and husband Michael, daughter Lisa Darby; brother Morris Spence and wife Frances, brother Cary Spence and wife Sue, brother Gary Spence; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other family. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, July 2nd from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Beaty Home followed by the funeral beginning at 2:00 p.m. Bro. Ronny Spence officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery.
