Donald C. Wilson

Mr. Donald C. Wilson passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at the age of 71. He was born on October 18, 1940 in Winnsboro, Texas. Mr. Wilson served in the U.S. Army and USAR as a Private Class E1, acting principally as a aircraft Mechanical Engineer. He retired from Bell Helicopter seven years ago as a Mechanical Engineer. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Edgar Allison "Shorty" Wilson, Hazel Werze Williams Cowan, step-father, Cotton Cowan and daughter, Donna Jones. Survivors include his second wife, Lou Wilson of Irving; daughter, Angela Mallett and husband Jeff of Fresco; son, Donald A. Wilson and his Partner Micheal R. Rittenhouse of Flower Mound; step-daughter, Connie Jordan and Husband Chris of Rockport; step-son, Ted Thrasher and wife Melanie of Sherman; step-son, Terry Thrasher and wife Angie of Springtown; sister, Linda Gibson and husband Bubba of Winnsboro; sister, Brenda Gandy and husband John of Winnsboro; brother, Jerry Wilson and wife Deborah of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Sydney Jones and Hayden Jones of Frisco, Austin Mallett of Frisco; step-grandchildren, Michaela Thrasher of Sherman and Tony Thrasher and Cody Thrasher of Springtown.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 2:00PM at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro, Texas, with Pastor Larry Craig officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
