Donna Grace Mcnevin

Donna Grace McNevin, age 66, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024, and went to be with her Lord and Savior.

Donna was born on July 8, 1957, to parents Albert and Vivian Smith, in Henderson, Texas. Donna was the oldest of three girls.

Donna graduated from Henderson High School in 1975. Upon graduating, she attended Kilgore College for two years where she obtained an Associates Degree. While attending college, she was a proud member of the Kilgore College Ranger Band. After graduating, she worked as an Administrative Assistant for various companies.

On June 29, 1983, Donna married the love of her life, Brian McNevin. Together, Donna and Brian have two daughters, Lori Cordell, and Courtney LaRue.

Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal daughter, sister, and friend. Her joy and laughter were contagious. Her perseverence through adversity and her unwavering faith were an inspiration to everyone around her. Donna was genuine and kind to all, and always wore a smile that would light up the room. If you knew her, you loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Brian; children; Lori Cordell and husband, Tim of Pilot Point; and Courtney LaRue and husband, Keith of Longview; sisters, Tami Barnard of Longview and Melanie Parton and husband Scott of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Bailey (15), Peyton (12), Alessandra (10), and Noah (4); and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and too many friends to count.

Donna is preceded in death by her two infant sons, Jeffrey Lynn and Timothy James; and parents, Albert and Vivian Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association in memory of Donna.
