Doris Greer

Mrs. Doris Greer passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the age of 78. She was born on September 10, 1928 in Cisco, Texas. Mrs. Greer moved to Winnsboro in 1977 and opened D&G Air Conditioning Service. She was the owner of Greer's Bookkeeping in Winnsboro and was the past owner of H&R Block in Winnsboro for 35 years. She served as a Charter Member and past President of the Winnsboro Pilot Club and attended the Pine Street Baptist Church. Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Wilkinson and Eula Mae Evans; her first husband, Earl Larrimore Odneal; second husband, Jesse Glen Greer and by one brother, Donald Wilkinson. Survivors include her sons, Larry D. Odneal of Arlington, David Odneal of Lufkin and Tracy Odneal of Farmersville; daughters, Earlayne Hirsch of Winnsboro and Nona Sue Odneal of Tyler; five grandchildren, Amy Pearce, Joshua Odneal, Angel Odneal, Hank Odneal, Emily Odneal and by her boy-friend of many years, Lou Simmons.
