Doris Marie Phillips

Mrs. Doris Marie (Allen) Phillips, age 89 of Winnsboro, passed away on Monday, September 26th, 2016 at the Autumn Wind Assisted Living of Winnsboro. She was born on March 23rd, 1927 in Claiborne County, Mississippi to the late William Marshall Allen and Hattie Mae (Daniels) Allen. She graduated from Grayson County Junior College, followed by Southeastern Oklahoma State. She retired as a Data Processing Supervisor from Kraft Foods in Sherman; she was a member of East Sherman Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of more than 6o years, Billy John Phillips; a son, Billy Donald Phillips; and brothers, James Douglas and Benny Allen. She is survived by a son, Alan Harold Phillips of Matagorda; a sister, Dorothy Bynum of Point; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 29th, 2016 at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro at 2:00 pm, Bro. Terry Bolton officiating, interment will follow at Sharon Cemetery in Winnsboro.
