Doris Whittiker

Mrs. Doris Evelyn (Pool) Whittiker, age 72, of Mineola, Texas, died Friday, August 15, 2008, at Colonial Tyler Care Center in Tyler, Texas. Mrs. Whittiker was a retired seamstress with Blacksheep in Tyler and a member of Central Baptist Church in Mineola. She was born December 24, 1935 in the Little Hope Community to the late R.T. and Rena Gore Pool. She was also preceded in death by her husband Glen Whittiker and by one infant son Steve.

She is survived by her three daughters, Vicki Sandifer and her husband Jeff of Mineola, Texas, Kaye Lee and her husband Galen of Spring, Texas and Carla Dubbs and her husband Barry of Mineola, Texas; one brother,

Donnie Pool of Hughes Springs, Texas; seven grandchildren and

seven great-grandchildren.
