Dorotha Laudys Stults

Graveside services for Mrs. Dorotha Brooks Stults, age 83 of Mineola, Texas and formerly of Plano, are set for 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 23, 2009 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, Texas. Mrs. Stults died Tuesday in a Tyler, Texas hospital. She was born April 17, 1925 in Sonora, Arkansas and lived in Plano for several years where she taught math in the Plano ISD. After retirement she and her husband moved to Mineola. During her teaching career in Plano, she received the Teacher Of The Year Award. Mrs. Stults is survived by her husband, John W. Stults of Mineola, TX; by one son, Cecil Stults of Plano, TX; by one daughter & son-in-law, Helen & H. E. Stewart of Alba, TX; by two sisters, Clydia B. Steenson and Helen B. Harris, both of Mineola, TX; by 2 grandchildren, Amanda Burke and Loren Burke; and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 10:00 A.M.
