Dorothy Jane Busby

Mrs. Dorothy Jane Busby, age 80 of Winnsboro, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in Winnsboro. She was born in Wood County on September 4, 1932 to the late Jess M. and Ressie M. James Laminack. Throughout her life, Dorothy, worked as housekeeper for the nursing homes and schools in Winnsboro, and was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, R.J. Busby; sisters, Clara Horn, Sara Mullins, and Marie Malone; brothers, Raymond Laminack, and an infant brother. She is survived by two daughters, Marth Cook and husband Charles of Winnsboro, Carol Scott and husband James of Winnsboro; five grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
