Dorothy Texas Myers-Hart

Dorothy Hart, a long time resident of Kilgore, Texas passed away on August 14, 2011, after a short illness.

Dorothy was born on January 1, 1916 in Crow, Wood County, Texas to the late William Wesley Myers and Beulah Ann Parker. Dorothy is survived by two of her five sisters, Valerie Blackburn of Mineola, and Katrina Davis of Kilgore. Also two sons, Hugh Glen Hart of Washington, DC and Billy Myers Hart and wife Debbie of Forney, Texas. She has one grandson, William Myers Hart II and wife Lindsey of Bentonville, Arkansas; a granddaughter, Julie Salvato and husband Anthony of Canton, Texas and their two children, Tyler and Baylee.

Other sisters deceased are Datha Ross McNeal, Willie Gray and Mary Christian.

Dorothy's wish was to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Beaty Funeral Home Chapel in Mineola (5396 State Hwy 37).
