Dorothy Grace Whittiker

Mrs. Dorothy Grace Whittiker passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013, at the age of 86. She was born on September 3, 1926 to the late Sam Woods and Effie Etta Usery Woods. Mrs. Whittiker retired from Sears and Roebuck after over forty years with the company. She was a southern baptist, and was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LD Whittiker on February 13, 2009; and one brother, Earl Woods. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Vicki Whittiker of Tyler; sister-in-law, Elsie Faye Durbin and husband Jimmy of Leesburg; three grandchildren, Nancy, Erik and Adam; and numerous nieces and nephews. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Smith County Alzheimer's Alliance or Hospice of East Texas or the charity of your choice in honor of Dorothy.
