Douglas Randall Gatewood, age 60, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at his home in Mineola, Texas. He was born on Friday, August 26, 1949 in Golden, Texas. He was a Police Officer for 22 years working for Wood County Sheriff's Office and Longview P.D. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father; Douglas Troy Gatewood and a sister; Martha Blake.
He is survived by his Mother; Sue Gatewood, a son; Dr. Douglas Adam Gatewood and fiancé Dr. Fara Kibbe of The Colony, Texas, two sisters; Linda Jarvis, Carol Drinkwater and one grandson; Douglas Cash Gatewood.
