Douglas Wayne Grubbs

Mr. Douglas Wayne Grubbs passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015, at the age of 84. He was born on April 24, 1931, to the late A.J. Grubbs and Lillian Irene Chambers Grubbs. Mr. Grubbs was a retired Steamfitter with Pipefitters Local Union #211. He was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Association; member of Pine Street Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ricky Wayne Grubbs; brothers, George Harold Grubbs, Bobby Don Grubbs and Gaston Paul Grubbs; sister Grace Whatley. Survivors include, his loving wife, Joyce Grubbs; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Marc Barnett of Winnsboro; brothers, Mickey Grubbs and Johnny Grubbs, both of Winnsboro; three grandchildren, Christan Robinson and husband Bret, Lacie Monday and Blake Barnett; two great grandchildren, Kale Robinson and Macie Monday; and numerous nieces and nephews.
