Doyle Mcgee

October 30, 1910 — February 16, 2007

Mr. Doyle Marshall McGee, age 96 of Winnsboro, passed away Friday, February 16, 2007 in Winnsboro. He was born in Timpson, TX on October 30, 1910 to the late James and Lillie Mae Cook McGee. He was a graduate of Winnsboro High School, a owner of service stations, auto parts houses, and wholesale distributorships. He is a past president of the Dallas North Kiwanis, The Dallas Service Station Association, and as a director of the Texas Service Station Association. In 1959 he purchased Black Oak Ranch in Winnsboro. He was a baptist, a mason and a shriner. He married the late Clembert Sutherland in 1933. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife. He is survived by his daughter, Dana Sue Dempsey and husband Jim of Winnsboro; one son, Carl Marshall McGee and wife Barbara of Grand Prairie; seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
