Eather Delk

Eather Delk, age 97, died on Monday, June 27, 2011 in Quitman, Texas. She was born on Saturday, July 19, 1913 in Kilgore, Texas to the late Claude and Josephine Still. She attended Myrtle Springs Baptist Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was voted Volunteer of the Year for the Quitman Chamber of Commerce.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Delk; and a son, Charles Ray Delk.

She is survived by two sons, Dick Delk and wife Ann of Quitman and Buford Delk and wife Sarah of Quitman; a daughter, Della Hogan of Quitman; a daughter-in-law Frances Delk of Quitman; nine grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
