Edgar Allen Weems

Mr. Edgar Allen Weems, age 74 of Winnsboro, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022 in Winnsboro. He was born on October 7, 1947 in Winnsboro to the late Louis William Weems and Cliffie Vertice Weems.
Edgar was a retired Logger and member of East Point Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Carla Sue Weems, brother, Monnie Earl Weems and grandson, Levi Deforrest. He is survived by his loving wife, Janey Weems of Winnsboro; son, Jimmie Allen Weems and wife, Lynn of Winnsboro; daughters, Sheila Weems Williamson of Daingerfield, Sharon Denise Lyons and husband, Rick of Winnsboro, Shelley Weems Deforrest and husband, Shannon of Winnsboro, Amy Fields and husband, Greg of Blossum, Texas and Frances Stout of Quitman; brother, Jim Bob Weems and wife, Sherrill of Winnsboro; sisters, Virginia Quinn of Gilmer, Cynthia Weems of Winnsboro, Jane Weems of Winnsboro and Linda Weems of Winnsboro; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home 816 W. Broadway Winnsboro, TX. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm at the funeral home with Rev. Donnie Chamberlain conducting.
Interment will be at Little Hope Cemetery in Winnsboro, with Shannon Deforrest, Joseph Deforrest, Jimmie Weems, Thomas Moss, Michael Stout, Tommy Thompson, Tracy Quinn, Robert Weems serving as pallbearers.
