Edith Fern Coones

Mrs.Edith Fern Coones died Friday, June 24, 2016 in Golden, Texas at the age of 81. She was born October 6, 1934 in Arp, Texas to the late Charles and Helen Meadors. She was a baptist and a former member of Northside Baptist Church in Mineola. Suvivors include her husband, Gene Coones of Golden; sons, Robert G. Coones of Rockwall and David E. Coones and his wife Gladys R. of Royce City; daughter, Peggy F. "Cricket" Coones and her husband Tuffy Sevenson of The Colony; sisters, Alva May Jackson of Abilene and Patsy Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
