Edith Curtis

Edith Curtis, age 75, of Tyler, Texas, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at Reunion Plaza Senior Care Center in Tyler. A Tyler citizen since 1980, Curtis was a homemaker and was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in Flint. She attended Lon Morris College for and graduated from Tyler Commercial College. Mrs. Curtis is preceded in death by her parents, L. C. and Mabel Ditto; and one son, Mark Curtis. She is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, James Curtis; one sister, Mildred Garrett of Jacksonville; a niece, Gay Garrett of Houston; a nephew, Kevin Harvey of Quinlan.

Arrangements are being handled by Beaty Funeral Home, P.O. Box 209, Mineola, Texas. Funeral services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 21, 2008, Pastor Robert Burkett officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Fellowship Church in Flint, or to the charity of your choice.
