Edward Timothy Aki

January 31, 1948 — February 12, 2022

February 12th, 2022 at 12:30am we said goodbye to Edward Timothy Ku’akahi Aki, our loving husband, father, grampa, great grampa, brother and uncle. He is survived by; his wife, Susie Aki, children; Wally Walker, Patrick Walker, Andrew Walker, Susie Swasso and her husband Steve Swasso; 15 wonderful grandchildren (and their spouses) and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren; his sister, Sheri Lauriat and brother Danny Aki; and lots of wonderful nieces and nephews. Born in Hawaii in 1948, he became an architect and worked on many amazing AAFES exchanges all over the world. A man of God, he was generous to a fault, a family man, whom he loved above everything else. He will be remembered for his magical stories, candy stash, and Picklehead mountain. He gave without ever looking back. He was loved, and will be greatly missed. Rosary will be held Thursday, 2/17 @ 7pm at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola, TX. A funeral Mass will be held Friday 2/18 at 10am at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, Mineola, TX. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
