Edward Wayne Harrell, 87, of Mineola, TX died on Friday, October 31, 2014 in Mineola, TX. He was born on Monday, July 11, 1927 in Delhi, LA to the late Brown and Myrtle Estelle Harrell.

He was a member of Church of Christ in Quitman, TX. He was a member of the VFW.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Harrell; one son, Darryl Ray Harrell; one sister, Estelle Wheeler.

He is survived by his son; Kenneth Certain and wife Edith of Marshall, TX; daughters, Deborah Tate of Mineola, TX, Carolyn Dawson and husband Danny of Mineola, TX, Melissa Chrietzberg and husband Marc of Mineola, TX, Sherry Adkins of Quitman, TX, Faye Johnson of Quitman, Tx, Mae Bowden and husband Terry of Pauls Valley, OK, Barbara Cross and husband Rodney of Harrisburg, NE.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Service will follow visitation at 11:00 AM, officiated by Rev. Charles Long. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, TX.
