Edwin Delanor "Pete" Blalock, age 70, died on Saturday, September 18, 2010 in Quitman, Texas. He was born on Friday, August 23, 1940 in Hoard, Texas to the late Robert and Margaret Blalock. He was a member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church and the retired owner of Blalock's Tractor.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife Frieda Blalock; a son, Jeff Blalock and wife Shirley; a daughter, Tonda Palmer and husband Thomas; a brother, Robert Blalock; two sisters, Nadine Melton and Maxine Godbey; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
