Elbert Glenn Kennemer

March 9, 1950 — July 29, 2020

Elbert Glenn "Bert" Kennemer went to be with his heavenly father on July 29, 2020. He was a Baptist and was born on March 9, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Alton Glen Kennemer and Mary Marie Witt Kennemer both of Winnsboro TX. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audine Smith Kennemer; by his two sons, Alton Paul and Marc Anthony Kennemer; his parents, Alton Glen and Mary Marie Kennemer; two brothers, James and Silas Woodrow "Woody" Kennemer both of Winnsboro and two sisters, Dorothy Simmons and Kathy Steele. He is Survived by one sister, Beverly Atkison and husband, Challen of Mt. Vernon, TX; surviving children, Chris Bundrant of Quitman, Misty Hill and husband Ty of Commerce, TX; Elbert W. Kennemer of Quitman, Teresa Ford and husband Kyle of Greenville TX. He had seven grandchildren, Zane, Cheyenne, Nevaeh, Kaia, Krymzen, Natalie and Joshua. Bert Loved to spend most of his free time fishing and hunting when he was not on the road driving the truck of living his life to the fullest with his family and friends. He spent his last bit of life at the coffee shop with his friends and at the lake fishing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home with graveside services being held immediately following at Hopewell Cemetery with Bro. David Taylor officiating. All are welcome to join in his celebration of life.
