Elizabeth Kaylyn Craven

January 21, 1983 — August 1, 2021

Elizabeth Kaylyn Craven was born on Friday, January 21,1983, to Debra and Lemuil Henry Craven in Dallas, TX. On August 1, 2021, she was reunited in Heaven with her son, Brandon Craven, her mom, Debra Craven, her grandmother, Mary Adkins, her dad, Lemuil Henry Craven, Aunt Linda Dunn, Uncle Ernie Adkins, cousins, Randy Dunn, Christopher, and Morgan Mize after a tragic car accident.
Elizabeth leaves behind to cherish her memories her brother and sister-in law, Wayne and Kalisa Craven; her niece and nephew-in law, Sarah and Dylan Vick; her great niece, Emma Vick; three nephews, Eli Craven, Samuel Craven, and Wyatt; and her beloved "Old Man", Michael Martin. They made each other's imperfect life, just perfect. She also leaves behind a large number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Most important about Elizabeth, better known as Liz, is all the in between. She had a heart of gold, would do anything for anyone, and was the most forgiving person. I have had several people tell me how she helped them. It may have been to help with their children's Christmas, to help them move into a new home, or just to be there for a listening ear. She never asked for anything in return and never bragged about helping others,
these little things often went unknown to anyone.
Elizabeth loved her children, along with everyone else's, with her whole heart. She never stopped looking for them when her life got on track. So, Brianna, Natalie, and Coby please know your mother loved you with everything she had, the best way she knew how. Elizabeth may not have been the best person, but she was the best that she could be. She got off the right track, hit a couple of rough patches but had finally gotten back on track.
Some of the things that I will miss the most are the way she went out of her way to make sure everyone was doing good--even though her world may have been crumbling around her; the random messages asking about the kids and if they were doing ok or if they needed anything; the smile on her face when she was visiting with family, friends or holding a new baby; her love for family, camping, baggy clothes, and Dr. Pepper.
So, as you’re reading this today, please remember "never judge a book by its cover", because Elizbeth was a hidden gem that will never be replaced or forgotten. This is not goodbye but See Your Again!! Love always, Elizabeth!
