Elizabeth Ann Shafer (Williams)

Elizabeth Ann Shafer, born on October 13, 1942, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished daughter of Margaret Haggerton and Berry Williams.

Ann is survived by her devoted husband of 41 years, Chuck Shafer, and her beloved sister, Doris Vallejo, along with her spouse Bill Vallejo. She was a proud and loving mother to Debra Beard and her spouse Andy, Aundra Bell, Danny Bell and his spouse Dayna, and Latisha Shafer. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jonathan George, Adam Alexander,, Jacqueline Moreno and her spouse Humberto, Tasha Beverly and her spouse Wayne, Charity Waters and her spouse Kevin, Danielle Bell, Gracelynn Beard, Charity Beard, and LillyAnne Beard. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Ruben Moreno, Braden Alexander, Kayci Beverly, Dominic Moreno, Julianna Moreno, Eva Waters , Luke Beverly, Emmie Waters, Joy George, and Samuel Waters.

Elizabeth dedicated many years of service to Southwest Airlines and retired from Allied Fence, where she was known for her hard work and warm spirit. She was a woman of deep faith, believing strongly in Jesus and the promise of heaven.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at New Pickton Cemetery on June 24 at 11 am.
