Elsie Faye Durbin

Mrs. Elsie Faye Durbin, age 79 of Leesburg, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 in Pittsburg. Elsie was born in Franklin County on February 18, 1935 to the late P.R. Whittiker and Emmer Lee Campbell Whittiker. She was a homemaker, and attended Newsome Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters, fourteen brothers, and four grandchildren, Jimmie David Durbin, Marcus Rushing, Carla Weems, and Patricia Whitworth. She is survived by her husband, Jimmie David Durbin of Leesburg; sons, Cleburn Whitworth, Jr. and wife Lawan of Lake O' The Pines, Terry Lee Whitworth and wife Emily of Lake O' The Pines, Alford Whitworth and wife Bonnie of Lake O' The Pines, David Durbin of Winnsboro; daughters, Janice Friot and husband Ed of Pittsburg, Brenda Durbin of Winnsboro, Hazel Durbin of Winnsboro; fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
