He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Cecil Venable and son, Sterling Lee Venable.
He is survived by his mother; Alta Berniece Venable of Mineola, TX; son, Elton Wade Venable of Mineola, TX; daughter, Valarie Jean Venable of Mineral Wells, TX; brother, Buddy Floyd Venable of Azle, TX; and two grandchildren.
The family will have a Memorial Service at a later date.
