Emma Jo Brumley

Mrs. Emma Jo Brumley passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the age of 81. She was born on August 10, 1931 to the late Joe Frank Shepard and Lucy Parsons Shepard. Mrs. Brumley was a homemaker and a member of the Church Of Christ. Emma married Vernice Nelson Brumley on June 2, 1949, in Pickton, Texas. They lived in the Winterfield Community and were married for 58 years. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2007. Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Steven Brumley and wife Desiree; daughter, Nancy Karen Sims and husband JR; grandchildren, Jeremy Sims, Jamie Gold and husband Phil, Bryan Brumley and wife Alli; three great grandchildren, Preston Roy Sims, Emma Jean and Ella May Brumley.
