Emmitt Leroy Roberts

Mr. Emmitt Leroy Roberts of Mineola, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 in Mineola at the age of 83. He was born Tuesday, December 13, 1932 in Dekalb, Texas to the late, Roy Roberts and Irene Roberts-Goolsby. He worked in produce sales and served as pastor of Golden Baptist Church for 4 years along with several other area churches. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, Earlene Roberts on September 9, 2012 and by one grandchild. Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Teel and her husband Ed of Alba, Texas, Gail Turner and her husband Steve of Golden; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
