Ennis Dean Keener

Ennis "Todd" Dean Keener of Scroggins, Texas passed away and joined his family in heaven on July 4, 2020. Mr. Keener was born in Scroggins on September 13, 1932 to the late Early Dee Keener and Dovie Mae Dorthuly (Cross) Keener. He was married to Mary Elaine Keener in Como, Texas on February 15, 1993 and they shared 25 years together before her passing in 2018. Ennis was also preceded in death by brothers Richard Dee Keener, Early Eugene Keener, sisters Polly Etter Keener and Lorene Keener. Mr. Keener was a farmer and carpenter who worked very hard all his life. Ennis was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Scroggins. Mr. Keener is survived by stepson Billy Couch, stepson Mark Couch and his wife Donita, stepdaughter Lori Graham, 5 nieces and 3 nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at Beaty Funeral Home in Winnsboro from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The graveside will follow the visitation at Bethel Cemetery beginning at 12:00 p.m. Bro. Larry Glosup officiant. By order of the Governor of Texas, attendees are required to wear face mask.
