Ernie Mae Harpole

Mrs. Ernie May Harpole of Mineola, Texas died February 22, 2008 at the age of 92. She was born January 26, 1916 to the late Sidney and Nettie (Brown) Murdock in Rotan, Texas. She has lived in the Mineola area for the past 35 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Golden, Texas. Member of the Iris Garden Club, Eastern Star, and enjoyed painting, gardening and quilting. She is preceded in death by husband, Joe Doyce Harpole on July 24, 1995; grandson, Michael Scott Green; son-in-law, Warren Louis Green; and four brothers. She is survived by son, Ron Harpole and wife Karen of Spring, Texas; daughters, Sonja Crawford and husband Troy of Keller, Texas and Donna Green of Mineola, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Annabelle Murdock of Commerce, Georgia and Vann Harpole of Mineola, Texas; brother-in-law, Billie John Harpole and wife Dorothy of Golden, Texas; 6 grandchildren, Vickie Walker, Sharon Salinas, Julia Rose, Ronda Harder, Deborah Crawford and Rachel Smith; 8 great grandchildren, Joshua Walker, Devon Fuqua, Mary Rose, Abby Rose, Avery Harder, Lorelai Smith, Graham Harder, Quinlan Harder and numerous nieces and nephews.
