At 11:33 pm on February 16, 2015 our precious daddy completed his final checklist and flew into Heaven.

Eugene Leonard Bright, Jr. passed away in Tyler, TX. He was born on Wednesday, November 19, 1924 in Longview, TX to the late Eugene L. Sr. and Corine Bright.

Eugene was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mineola, TX, member of the Mineola Masonic Lodge and held his private pilot license.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Adeline Bright in December 1998.

He is survived by his son; Gary C. Bright and wife Lisa of Mineola, TX; daughter, Beverly Ryan and husband John of San Antonio, TX; brother, Curtis Bright and wife Dianne of Holly Lake Ranch, TX; three grandchildren, Samuel Pieprzyca, Candace Williams and husband Joe, Casey Bright; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola, TX on Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be at Beaty Funeral Home on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 am officiated by Dr. Mark Neeley.

Internment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Mineola, TX.
