Evelyn Catherine Pittman

Mrs. Evelyn Catherine Pittman went to be with Lord on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the age of 96. She was born on May 28, 1914 to the late William Eddie Stoker and Annie Taylor Stoker. Mrs. Pittman was a homemaker and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winnsboro for over 80 years. She was a choir member, loved to cook and was know for her hospitality. Mrs. Pittman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don Merwyn Pittman in 1997 and by three brothers. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Merwyn and Sara Pittman of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Lynn Swanner of Winnsboro; five grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
