Evelyn Patricia Rountree, 73, of Mineola, TX died on Thursday, November 27, 2014 in Quitman, TX. She was born on Monday, April 28, 1941 in Quitman, TX to the late James Preston and Lillie Pearl English. Evelyn was a member of The Hainesville Baptist Church in Hainesville, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by her son; David A. Rountree and wife Teresa of Mineola, TX; daughter, Tracy McKenzie and husband Monty of Mineola, TX; brothers, James English and wife Sandra of Mineola, TX, Ronnie English and wife Rita of Quitman, TX; grandchildren, Tiffany Poole, Thomas Lee Rountree, Preston Rountree, Patrick Turner, Payton Turner, Johnathan McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Charlie Poole, Zoey Poole, Elizabeth McKenzie and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Beaty Funeral Home in Mineola on Monday, December 1, 2014 at 1:00PM followed by funeral service officiated by Bro. Fred Morrow and Bro. Romond Stewart.
