Dr. Everett Newman Pile, age 88 of Winnsboro, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 in Winnsboro. Everett was born in Los Angeles, CA. on March 27, 1924 to the late John E. and Dessie Mae Newman Pile. He served as a pharmacist mate first class for the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He was a retired clinical psychologist, a member of the Clearwater Baptist Church, the Native American Fellowship, and the American Psychological Association. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mary Francis Pile; and a sister, Loretta Cahill. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Pile of Winnsboro; son, Larry Pile of Dallas; daughter, Marcella Babb and husband Mike of The Colony; brother, Billy Pile and wife Marilyn of Klamath Falls, OR.; sister, Mary Lois Kelton of California; a step-daughter, Allison Mabry of Winnsboro; grandchildren, Adam Babb of Phoenix, AZ., Daniel Babb and wife Tiffany of Phoenix, AZ.; two step-grandchildren, Brittany Gutierrez and husband Emmanuel of Winnsboro, Ashleigh Mabry of Winnsboro; great-grandchild, Makensie, and step great-grandchild, Sophie.
