Everredia Grant

Ms. Everredia Grant was born on September 21, 1949 in Wood County to the parentage of Ervin and Lonnie Grant. Ms. Grant received her formal education from McFarland High School in Mineola, Texas. Ms. Grant accepted Christ at an early age from Freeman Chapel Baptist Church and continued to serve and love Christ throughout her earthly life. Ms. Grant is preceded in death by her father, Ervin Grant; mother, Lonnie Grant; three brothers, Sampson, William and Donnie Grant; two sisters, Velma Grant and Dorothy Grant Bolden. Ms. Grant leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Keneva Grant of Mesquite, Texas, Byron Sheffield, Kolby Lewis and Lamaria Lewis of Mineola, TX; one grandchild, Brandton Cooksey; one sister, Anna Grant of Mineola, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, including special niece, Suprina Casteel of Ferris, TX, cousins and friends. Ms. Grant was employed and retired from Mineola Independent School District after 24 years. During that time she made sure that the children, she was entrusted with arrived safely to and from school. She always had words of encouragement for the children she served.
