Evie Lee Hornberger

Mrs. Evie Lee Hornberger, age 92 of Wolfe City, passed away on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at her home. She was born May 19, 1929 in Roanoak, Alabama to the late John M. Sharpe and Hattie Bailey Sharpe. Evie was a mother, Meemaw, homemaker, and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church of Cambell, Texas. She retired from The Circuit Board in Irving. After retirement she worked with her husband for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Hornberger in February of 2020, son, Melvin Milner; daughter, Imogene Wallace; sisters, Louise Holstun and Pauline West; brother, Jack Sharpe and grandson, Rex Harbin Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Forga of Wolfe City and Linda Jones of Lake Fork; nine grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, Bro. James Rolston conducting. Interment will be at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola, with Caleb Monroe, Colton Goodwin, Cade Goodwin, Shane Samples, Lane Samples, Robert Goodwin serving as pallbearers.
